My heart is breaking for all who love Jessica. We all know the order is wrong. We are blessed with beautiful memories, but they will never be enough to remove the terror of a future without her physical presence. Rest peacefully Jessica.

Jess, Was the first friend i made when i moved to Brisbane, She befriended me because i had her fav lollies, I have such great memories of parties at her place with our school friends, Going clubbing Jess always told the drag queens it was her birthday to get on stage, i remember one night we where so drunk i said i as thirsty so she sprayed a UDL can on be and said here have a drink, that i will never forget. Her driving skills where questionable growing up with countless cars, On our first Gay Pride in Brisbane she gave me a bracelet that to this day i still have and has been on every rear-view mirror, It breaks my heart to know you have been taken away from your little family way to soon. Nat, Archer, Carole, Tracey and family thinking of you all in this sad moment

Jess was such an amazing caring and kind person, she always made every one around her feel good about themselves.
I remember the fun times we had in our youth, from partying, to late night drives to the lagoon, getting pulled up by the police for doing an illegal u-turns in the most unlucky car she owned. We both liked alot of the same music which I feel made us closer in a sence. She will forever be in my thoughts and my heart. Sending my love and thoughts to her beautiful family

I didn’t know Jess as well as I’d have liked, but from the moment I met her I knew she was the best of us all embodied. Such a kind soul, always happy to lend a hand to someone who needed it. Her loss will be felt by many.

I went to primary school with jess for a while. We actually caught the bus together and lived around the corner from each other. I was a country kid who had just moved to “the city” and Jess welcomed me and gave me a friend at school and in Lawnton. I will remember her for that kindness and openess and her great sense of humour even as a kid. I am truly sorry for your loss and I have no doubt she will be watching over her little family and guiding them always.

From an old colleague who remained fond of Jess for years and years afterwards, I wish all who knew and loved Jess some peace in knowing that Jess had true love, parenthood, adventures and achievements in her time on earth. She was a special person – sunny, funny, kind and good. Sending love to Natalie, Archer, and family and friends.

Jess was one of the kindest, most humble and selfless people I have ever met. Her love was immense and I am grateful to have known her. I will miss our chats about sports scores and music – these little convos bought me so much joy. Sending the biggest virtual hugs to Nat, Archer, and all who knew Jess.

  • Laura Franklin

Such a beautiful service and send off for the wonderful Jess ✨
I feel very honoured to have been a part of a few pretty memorable moments in Jess & Nat’s lives. Capturing their engagement and wedding photos ❤️
As a photographer I always felt honoured to capture someone’s wedding because it’s memories they can look back on. But it hit a different spot in my heart when I heard of Jess’ passing, because those memories captured have so much more meaning now to those left behind. They tell a part of Jess’ story. A story that can be not only told but also shown to little Archer and many family & friends for a lifetime.
What an honour to capture them and have other wonderful memories with Jess. She was such an extraordinary person who will be very missed! Sending lots of love & heartfelt wishes and thoughts to the beautiful Nat and little Archer and for all her friends & family as we celebrate and grieve together ❤️

  • Claire Davies

To Michael, Fee and family. I only met Jess when she was a little girl, even then she was unique. Love seeing she never changed as she grew up. Certainly gone way before her time. My love and thoughts are with you’s always. Friends are the family we choose for ourselves. May she rest in peace. Lots of love sent to you all
