Uncle Mervyn was an inspiration to me to adventure into the world and explore. He inspired me to become a teacher and pursue travel and was a great support when I moved to South Korea established my career as a teacher.

He lesson in my life was travel is the greatest education of them all.

Dr. Mervyn Naidoo was one of a kind… dedicated, passionate & caring. He was a beautiful person and a great Doctor, he always made you feel like he cared. Could talk about anything, football, sports, world affairs and politics, and that was before he asked ‘What can I do for you today’ in the surgery. He is dearly missed, and never forgotten VALE Mervyn

Dear Cousin Mona and the kids,
The next generation has started to leave us now. I send my love and hugs to you and so wish that I could have been there with you all to say farewell to Mervyn. A free spirit who shared his views unreservedly. Loved by many and left a lasting memory with every interaction.
I pray that God will grant you courage and strength during this time and that The Holy Spirit, The Comforter be with you to guide you to understand the Joy and Hope that we all believe exists for the next life.
Rest well Mervyn and may the Angels welcome you to heaven.
      God bless you all.

Thank you all for the beautiful messages and words of comfort. It means a great deal to the family & myself. All who knew Mervyn would realise- he lived his life on his own terms- worked hard & partied hard. Through it all he was a kind & loving human being & always the gentleman who loved his family.
