She was like a Mum to me growing up- she taught me how to make pancakes and her warmth and smile I will always remember. She will be sadly missed but forever in our hearts.

    What a magnificent service for a magnificent woman. We have very fond memories of visiting Auntie Pat and Uncle Bill and the tribe of children over the years when I was based in Qld with the Army. Though we are not all that close due to the fact we were all raised in different states of Australia, we were always welcomed with open arms by the whole family each time we visited.

    Our dearest Pat was such a wonderful lady, full of love and her nature was to nurture all who came her way. Her music was so important to her and Barry and I were lucky to be part of St. Peter’s Choir and experienced her way of challenging people to sing better. Her welcoming ways helped manner a person to feel wanted and part of a community. Her Rosary Group is still going though, now under the name of St Peter’s Prayer Tree. I am so sorry that Barry and I could not be part of her funeral celebration as we really wanted to be able to sing and honour her. God’s blessings to the family and now that Pat has met her Maker, I will ask her to intercede with my prayers. Rosemary and Barry McCormick

Ice creams, beach, garden walks, smiles and fun Monologues enacted by all of us…Pat loved every minute! A remarkably kind and intelligent lady whom I adored, like her daughter Angie xx
