A beautiful woman, my dear Aunty Ruth, at rest. A life of kindness as wide as the years of length. So grateful for the love and gentle wisdom she shared with us all.
Sending our love, hugs and condolences to all the family, near and far. Thinking of Faye, Ron, Ken and Allan and all her descendants and especially of her siblings who can’t be there. Special love sent from Barbara, Ruth’s baby sister.

Sending my love from South Australia to Ron, Ken, Faye and Allan – so sorry I couldn’t be there. My summers spent with Aunt Ruth will be forever held as precious memories and getting to know my extended family, absolutely treasured. xxx

Beautiful service – we watched from Auckland. Would love to have been there – found it very moving to see you all there. Really enjoyed the photos, eulogies and reading. We both had such a deep affection for Aunty Ruth, from seeing her in Victoria when she visited for family occasions, to visiting on our way around Australia, and being able to spend some quality time when we had work on in Brisbane. She was loving, welcoming, handsome and had a wonderful sense of humour and mischief. I’ll miss seeing her and Dad together – love that shot on the quad-bike! Deepest sympathy to you Ken, Faye, Ron, Alan and families. Much love, Suzanne and Cameron xx

Dear Faye, Ron, Ken and Allan and their families
So lovely to be a part of the celebration of Aunty Ruth’s life. Mum (Grace) and I have watched from Kyabram, Victoria and we’re touched that the flowers from our family were part of your day. When we can’t be with you this is the next best thing.
With loving memories of a gentle and wise lady.
With much love especially from Grace xxx

Celebrating our sister and Aunty Ruth. A beautiful woman with whom her little brother, Arthur, felt he had a special connection – they certainly shared a delightful sense of humour. Loving, good-humoured, delightful, talented. We feel saddened by her passing, but uplifted to be celebrating a long life, well-lived. Sending condolences and big love to our Brisbane cousins and their families. Arthur, Estelle, Peter & Kerri, John & Sadie, Stephen, Suzanne & Cameron and families xx
